The quotes that inspired me to put the videos of TKAMB and In Cold Blood would have to be the quote in the beginning of the book where Charles Shields says that "To Kill a Mockingbird . . . one of the most influential pieces of fiction produced in the United States."
The inspiration for the videos of In Cold Blood came from the quote that said that Truman Capote actually thought In Cold Blood would be his "best book yet."
The tornado guide was in there because the tornado, I thought, was important. It shows one of the conflicts in the story, because one of the people in the dorm's "roommates was too agitated to sleep and kept looking out the window." This shows that the conflict affected people.
I put in a piece about Harper's life because I thought that it would be good for the blog. A quote that supports this is a quote about Harper Lee. She is a "mysterious figure who routinely turns away reporters. She has never been the subject of a book," which I think is interesting.
The picture of I Am Scout's cover is there solely because I thought it needed to be there. There are no quotes to support this except maybe "...this book, the first ever about the woman who gave the world To Kill a Mockingbird..." since this book is kind of an important book.
The images of third-person limited and omniscient are there because I felt like giving you, the blog readers, a lesson in English. The "Comic Book Guy" image is actually there because I felt like putting some humor in the post. (because i are good grammer-writer. i also speel gud.) Note: all spelling and grammar (see, I CAN spell grammar) errors in the parentheses are intentional. Please do not mark off points. (I'd like a good grade on this!)
